The Lilium is a kind of flowers of which 40 are known species.
The most famous is the "Lilium Candidum" that, in the common language is called "LILY" or also "St. Antony's Lily",
a white flower represented with this Saint in a lot of paints.

Are also common in our latitudes the "Lilium tigrinum", with pink shadings, yellow and small black spots
and the "Lilium regale", white with pink or yellow shadings.
The LILIUM is original of the east and symbolizes innocence, virginity and candor.
